If I could give this salon a 10 star review I would! Everyone there is the sweetest to you even if you’re not their client. My stylist DJ has been doing my hair for four years now and she just continues to amaze me each time with my hair. Her color last forever and she makes sure you leave her seat completely satisfied. She’s the best!

I’ve been to Sugar Shack 3-4 times now and every time I’m blown away. Today I was with Kim, who was absolutely phenomenal. She treated me like a VIP and answered any and all of my questions. She was so thorough and precise and I’m in love with my new hair!! The last few times I had Brittany and she made my hair dreams come true too! She saved a terrible “balayage” and gave me the exact color blend I asked for from another stylist not at this salon (it was awful). The rest of the staff is also so nice to be around. They interact with other clients who aren’t in their chair, like they want to know everything about you and welcome you into their family. They all say bye when you leave and they compliment your hair and give each other kudos on their work. Such a wonderful environment to get the hair of your dreams (and not at outrageous prices!) I’ll definitely never trust anyone else with my hair.

Year 3 of coming here & it’s the best decision I’ve made! There is such a positive, inclusive & kind vibe here at this salon! Ambers been doing my hair- & it’s just phenomenal!!! I always feel so comfortable and confident in her chair. Honestly, if she wasn’t available I would still trust that any of these girls can do just as good! The team is great about communicating about the pricing & my hair goals. If you are needing to try/find a new place… 10/10 recommend Sugar Shack!!

If you are worried about keeping length because you've been burned by previous stylists or just because you're trying to grow your hair out, you can absolutely trust Brittany! The first time I saw her I had not had a haircut in 19 months out of fear because a stylist at a different establishment had given me a blunt cut to my shoulder blades instead of trimming the ends on my tailbone-length layers. Brittany listened carefully, looked at the pictures I brought, and repeatedly confirmed with me the amount of length she was taking off to assuage my concerns. She never made me feel bad for being overly anxious and was extremely nice about me switching appointment dates because I misread the calendar. AND she was able to keep so much of the length on the longest layer that the only way I knew it had been cut was because the ends felt healthy again. I've been back to her twice and both experiences have also been great. As for the salon itself, the vibe is extremely warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Amber for all my crazy hair requests for nearly a decade now. A number of years back she mentioned how it was her dream to own her own salon and when she did it, she did it right! This place is an amazing salon with amazing stylists. Although I am biased to Amber, a number of the other girls have also done my hair when Amber wasn't available. No matter who you get, they take care of you. They treat you like family and like you belong in their craziness. They can literally do it all. I have had every color of the rainbow and my requests are always out there, but they ALWAYS accommodate. They are up front about what is manageable, costs and time it will take which is greatly appreciated. Plus, the salon itself is a very inviting and fun atmosphere. No matter who and what you get, you will love your hair. 10/10 recommend.

I came to Sugar Shack for a major overhaul of my hair. I've had some capacity of blue for the last 3 years. While I loved it, it was more than time for a change. After an awesome consultation with Amber, she paired me up with Vikki, and I am so glad she did. Vikki is super friendly, super professional, and seriously rocked my hair. I am so happy with how it looks and feels. If I could give 10 stars, I would. If you're on the fence about visiting Sugar Shack, I encourage you to go for it. Thank you, Vikki, for doing such an amazing job. Can't wait to come back. 💖😁

--Update: (bear with me, lol) So after I had redone my review the owner (or manager) of the store called me and said how sorry she was to hear that the pink had fallen out as quickly as it had, she then offered to redo all the pink in my hair, with a semi darker color that shouldn't fall out, but fade to the desired pink that I had wanted. (except for the design that was on the sides, which is okay with) all for free! She expressed how I should have come in to tell them that it had happened and they would have fixed it for me, but now that I know, I am redoing my rating to show 5 star across the board. Amazing experience!! Haleigh was just amazing!! I came in with a vague plan and she brought it to life and more! Sadly however not even a week went by and ALL of the pink fell out of my hair, I did everything she instructed me to do about taking care of it, and nothing, I'm disappointed that I spent all that money to get it done and it ALL falls out... debating on going back. I will post pictures for reference.

I’ve had bad experiences in the past with different hair stylists in the past which had led me to not trust anyone with my hair because they never gave me what I asked for or gave me the exact opposite. When I came here for my birthday I came with high expectations to get my monnies worth and let’s just say I will never go anywhere else. I trust Madi as my stylist and she always exceeds at what I want. She specializes in curly hair, color and extensions. I have fine thin straight hair and I always leave the salon with my hair feeling super healthy and beautiful. And I also just feel super comfortable coming here all the ladies dress up so cute and comfy.. and they’re so attentive to any you need.

I have been coming to Sugar Shack for over two years. Sarah has been doing my extensions for almost two years. It doesn’t matter what I want, she always does it better than I imagined. We get to play around with colors in the shade ranges that fit me best, and she’s been able to give me my pop of color while still having the length I want. It is the best investment I’ve ever made into myself, and Sarah always makes me feel spoiled and beautiful. The color technique is amazing. The extensions always look beautiful, and it is always the best few hours I spend for myself. Bonus points we also get to talk about cats! The extensions she does are the best I’ve seen, and nobody believes that they are until I show them. Sarah is hands down the best hair stylist, and the best with extensions. The pictures show just how good they are.
